Autumn Fun

Blue Eyed Child Picture

I was doing family portrait for a friend and also followed around her two adorable daughters to get some candid shots. This is one of those shots. I think the colors are just spectacular! I was using my 55mm - 200mm zoom lens, at 55mm, f/4.0, ISO 200, and a shutter speed of 1/250sec. We took the photos around 9:45 in the morning on a clear, crisp October day which is how I got the sunlight in her hair. I probably should have used the flash or a reflector to light up her face a little better, but I'm very happy with the results. I did a little post editing to brighten up her piercing blue eyes because the exposure didn't allow the camera to capture how they really look.
