Blur and lighting issues

by Ken
(Casa Grande, AZ)

I have no idea, but I'm thinking the light from the window contributed to the problem as well as a shutter speed that was too slow? Camera was not moving.

COmposition
by: Zakaria Yasin

hey buddy
what is ur subject here ? what do u want to depict..?
look the composition is 2 heads..one face ..clear..2 others in motion
this is what i get from the picture ..
well u have to be careful that motion is in two folds
one is the shaking of u r hands
the other is the movement of the subjects
while u r taking the snap..
some cameras have a sports or motion mode which allow to take better pictures of objects when they are in motion..
here the light from the behind is too much..u should have moved back to reduce the effect of the deep light
here u could have used the "white balancing option"
and adjsuting the "colour tone "
will fix it some what..

keep up the hard work..!

Lighting

The window light is overwhelming your light meter. A fill flash would help as that would allow for a faster shutter speed. Also, use a tripod and back up a bit for better composition.

I think so

I am not a professional, but I believe you are right. You could use a tripod. What type of camera are you using? Is it set on automatic, or manual setting? Also you cut off two of the girls' heads, partially. It would be better to back away. One friend told me not to cut off body parts. I will send this to my professional photographer friends to critique for you :)
