Butterfly in a garden

by Janice Rickert
(Duluth, Ga USA)

Stop and smell the flowers

Stop and smell the flowers

I got permission to take pictures of a neighbor's garden. There was a birdhouse, a ceramic rabbit, etc. But a butterfly happened to visit, and made this photo possible. I cropped out what didn't belong twice and sharpened it, adjusted the white balance, and ended up with this.

Taken in Duluth, Georgia with my Nikon D80 Camera.
exposure time: 1/100 sec
F-stop: f/8
No Flash
ISO speed: 100
white balance: florescent (OOPS) I fixed it with Paint Shop Pro Photo X2.
