CAN THIS BE PHOTOSHOPPED?

This picture of my 3 year old daughter this past Spring 2009. I love the picture but don't have a program good enough to edit out the child harness she is wearing. I just think it takes away from the photo.
Does anyone have any other suggestions on how i could make this better?
BTW, I am Not a professional photographer and this was shot with a cheap digital camera.

leave the harness

I wouldn't change a thing about the harness. It shows she's a spirited child and your protection of her by 'harnessing' her. The blur at the top and the black on the right side is distracting but other than that, -- great pic!

Leave as natural as you can
by: dvid swansea

it is a greate photo and the age she is ud expect to see a harness on, any photos ive taken of my 2 boys ive always liked details such as messy faces untied shoe laces and ice cream tiped down there tshirts, do you self a favour print it off frame it and dispay it and when you look back in years to come you WONT regret leaving the harness on.

Hope that helps but if you rely do insist on editing it mail back and ill try to help more....

better late than never - just read this. pro-photoshop artist....perhaps to keep it somewhat simple, make
the harness a dark color to blend in with the jacket.
cool shot.

Leave it.....

I actually had to really look to see what you were talking about with the harness, and once I found it, I think it is fine. I also think it adds to the story...even kids with harnesses need a break now and and then..lol...seriously, a very cute picture, perfect the way it is!!!

I doubt it
by: Anonymous

I doubt there is very much you can do to this pic to get rid of the harness without making it look fake. If you used photoshop, it would take alot of time & patience to do.
