Your absolutely right I definitely should have used a fill in flash. I just liked the color of the natural light.

I like the composition of this shot and the posing you used, however I think fill flash would have worked well here. The harsh sunlight is casting shadows on the faces and you can't see the girl's face toward the back for the shadows.
