First Kiss and a Forgotten Love

by Brooke N
(Baltimore, MD, USA)

It was spring time at the age of five. My cousins were about twelve or thirteen years old and another relative had just gotten married.

They decided to throw a play wedding, not with themselves though, with their live baby doll, me. My aunt had gotten her first disposable camera that day and was very snap happy. She had no clue as to how to correctly use the camera and was not the best at it either.

She did however have a great shot, with a lot of luck. The lighting was terrible under the tree but when the film was developed, it ended up being a fairy tale picture.

Still to this day, I don't think the boy in the picture has any clue that it is him, but he knows it is me.
