flower cactus

by Aysel
(Philippines)

I want to focus it more on the subject, the cactus, but I think it's still kinda blurred even though I already set it to emphasized subject..

tell me what do you think..

thanks.

Too many distractions,
by: Anonymous

Personally I feel that there are too many distractions in this picture:
1. The iron bars on top
2. The red cement (or stone) floor a the bottom and
3. the right side of the pot is cut
I would suggest to use macro setting for the cactus and place the pot in such a way that there are less or no distractions. But then, I must also confess that I am not a professional photographer.

Macro
by: Wayne

You should have a macro setting for taking close-ups of subjects like flowers...if you didn't use it...try it...you'll love it

Most of cameras have a setting on the camera for close up. camera then can take a better photo of the flower.
