Is a Home-based Business

If it means the same type of thing to you, knowing how I did it may help you achieve the same thing. My hope is that I can play a small part in you achieving your dreams. Who am I? If you want all the gory details, here is the complete story. Or, you can read just "the summary"... I'm not a web designer, I can't code, and working with software scares me. (Yes, officially I'm a techno-coward.) Why am I admitting this? Because many people don't believe they can build a home based website business unless they have a technical background. The two most important factors needed for success are DESIRE and KNOWING WHAT TO DO. If you're reading this, the desire exists. That leaves "knowing what to do." I have found that if you don't already know what to do, the best way to find out is to learn from those who have already done it. These are the 5 steps of my journey. I hope they help you on yours.
#1: What are the options? Not knowing what to do first, I searched Google to identify how to build a website. This is what I found.
142,000,000 possible answers! Are they kidding? I didn't have time to investigate 142, let alone 142 million! Pretty discouraging. But, I thank my lucky stars that I kept going and eventually found Site Build It (SBI).
#2: What happened? I built my first website page on December 7, 2004. By the end of December, I had received a total of 185 visits and 695 page views. (All information mentioned on this page can be found here.) By following the SBI Action Guide, here are my results 2 years later.
