this was taken last new year's in my hometown where not a lot of people really spend for aerial fireworks.. i was kind of waiting for my shot and i think i was lucky enough to catch this and mind you, i took this with a sony cybershot dsc w-80, set on program mode, with an iso of 100, focus - infinity, no tripods! ;)
