Jett's tail in the spotlight

I got down to Jett's level and made sure that her whole body was in the shot, but, when I looked at the photo on the computer, I realized that the flash reflected off the metal file cabinet at the end of the hallway. Tips, please!

Nikon D80 camera / F stop f/5 / exposure time 1/200 sec
ISO 320
