Learn To Use Your White Balance

Different types of lighting have different color degrees (degrees Kelvin), that is why you always noticed a green tint to your film photographs when fluorescent was the dominant light. Using the wrong white balance will leave your photos "not looking right." They will have a blue, red or green tint to them.
The white balance (or color temperature) is different for incandescent light, sunlight, shade, a cloudy day, and your flash attachment. Go into your camera's menu and find the white balance setting. Enter into the menu and set the appropriate white balance and see your photos improve. As lighting conditions change, be sure to change your white balance.
