Love in the Family

Like Birds of a Feather

Like Birds of a Feather

We took a trip up north for the weekend, and stopped off at a park for lunch. The kids were all messing around on the playground, in the sand, and my sister had taken a picture of the kids on this big rock. I decided that it was a great shot, so before we left, I asked the kids to get back up and pose for me.

They readily agreed, but my nephew was a bit apprehensive and had quite a sad look on his face. I told him to stand beside my son, to which he complied. My son and my niece were really hamming it up, just genuine looks of glee and happiness on their faces, and I finally managed to get my nephew to smile.

I really like how the background is very blurry, as it was just a bunch of trees so it didn't need to be crisp at all. I also didn't include the rock in the picture, because I wanted to capture the look on the kids faces more then any land formations.

What awesome kids :o)
