It could be my camera, I think the statues are not being focused properly, seems a little blur on the edges. I used Candlelight to create a soft color, seems a little more romantic. But please, tell me what you think! Thanks!

positioning
by: Zakaria Yasin

Well , overall the subject chosen was great....
and ur idea was nice but loook ...

> there is a shadow of the statue..n studying that u can figure out that while taking the snap the camera shaked...

> there is an illuminated light source behind the statue from the outer side or it might be the reflection of th candles ... its diminishes the attractiveness of the picture..atleast to me..!

>> the picture is taken from an ELEVATED , higher , position so the composition is weak...if the camera was positioned at a lower level ..well below the waiste level of the statue the outer illuminated object could be rejected...

>>> as some one comented the FoCUS got no the "house" .. a more cool Headed study on the subject before the snap .. would give u very lovely PICTURE...

>>> Care should be taken on :

-the size of the frame ...

-the positioning of the statue ....

-the light sources internally controlled n fixed ones ..like the street lights...

all contribute to the composition...

Black and White

Consider converting this to black and white. Increase the contrast, and add some film grain. Sometimes doing this will create a more dramatic pic from a disappointing one.

focus and iso

its too dull... first FOCUS more on the subject, lower the ISO bec. it is somewhat grainy, and image is not blur but camera is shaky...

Focus and white balance
by: Anonymous

From what I see the focus is on the house lower left of the statues. If you have portrait or landscape option on your camera, try one of those. You may also want to try to manually focus instead of auto. If you have white balance in options on your camera, you may want to try and change it from auto to natural or daylight, if those are available.
