Millennium Park Bean

by Myron
(Tampa, FL)

What the...

What the...

I was visiting Chicago in 2006 and wanted to see Millennium Park for years. There's this giant metallic structure which created a unique landscape on a landscape effect.

Camera used was a Canon 10D with the 70-200mm F/4.0 L lens with a circular polarizer. Shutter was 1/125 second, F/7.1, ISO = 100.

With more time, I would have tried all sorts of different angles, including from underneath, shooting up, because one could see an entire panorama view from that position.

...was exactly what I thought, too. Perfect comment!! And what an interesting photograph. I wish I could have been there to see it in person. You did an excellent job.

Very Cool
by: Josh

Really interesting. Cool effect, not only skyscrapers but foreground object that jumps out. Glad you included people for scale.
