My lil pup

by Amanda Gibson
(Lancaster SC )

The light wasn't quite right that day, and it was kind of an accidental shot but I would love to hear everyone's opinion, I am not a professional photogrpaher but I would love to be.

Can be more interesting
by: Anonymous

In my opinion, if the pup was looking at the camera it would make the picture more interesting.

Correcting the lighting on "My Lil Pup"
by: Mary Fjellstad

I would say use a flash next time or check the white balance in your camera and set it to match the light, example; cloudy. Or you can try to brighten it on your computer after the fact using the contrast and brightness option in your photo editing program to brighten it up a bit. I almost always use a fill flash unless I want to use the natural light specifically, for a sunset or to set a mood indoors like a photographing someone blowing out the candles on a birthday cake.
