Never your first.

Never stop with your first shot. MOVE AROUND chances are the next shot is your take. Learn to see the shot before you set it up. I finally shot a wedding pose from a 10 foot ladder. Not really a good idea because if I fell the rest of the wedding would have been history but you get the idea. Move around.
