This photograph was inspired by the Bruce Springsteen song "Born To Run". I was out shooting photographs at evening fall, as I often do after a hard day at work (I am working as a doctor in hospital), it's a good way to come down and let your creative side show a little bit.
I was shooting near a place called "Königsplatz" in Munich, it's an accumulation of buildings of Greek style and I was standing basically inside one of them, an open building with huge pillars.
And I was shooting in the opposite direction first, but then I turned around and my eye caught this scenery with the clouds moving in really fast on the horizon.
I instantly turned around my tripod and camera, set aperture and shutter speed and hit the release. This is what I got.
The lines "Everybody's out on the run tonight / But there ain't no place left to hide" immediately came to my mind, since the picture shows motion both on the street and in the sky, while it has also some resting points for the eye to linger on.
