Dog Photos
by: Teresa

Hi Janice,

The only tip I can give is to have your camera ready at all times. My dog Toby, is so hyper and it is so hard to get decent photo's of him. On this one, I was in my studio working on my lighting and he just plopped down & I snapped it.

With dogs, it is good to use a fast shutter speed and set your aperture and ISO accordingly or even just use the sports icon on your camera, especially if they are outside running. I also use evaluative metering. I shoot with a Canon Rebel XTI or my Canon 40D.

I hope this has helped somewhat or you can email me at tangel11363@aol.com or my websites
www.hillerystudios.com or

Thank you for your comment
Teresa

by: Janice

What a nice photograph of your dog!! I am having trouble photographing my dogs, Fred and Jett, and have submitted many photos on this site, some of them in the studio. Do you have any tips for me?
