San Rafael Swell

San Rafael Swell

San Rafael Swell

Camping in the San Rafael Reef area of Utah, I had the chance to do some night photography with just star light. This shot was taken At ISO 400 @ 25 sec. f/3.5.
I was using Nikon 90 with my 20mm lens.

I was taking my five year old grandson out for his first "wild camping" trip. He was amazed with the amount of light and the wonderful clouds blowing across the sky.

We got to explore the sky and find some of the constellations. Where is that Big Dipper?
