Scottish Prince Charming finds his Princess

by Tanya Poirier
(Ottawa Canada)

The bride loved the decor, especially the chandelier.

About the challenges, the main one was getting the crystals into the shot without getting glare from the light bulbs. Another challenge was the actual location. This was taken in the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas, in the reception lobby. It had check-in/out signs nearly everywhere where I could try to frame a shot. And last challenge the obvious in LV, the attention we got from the crowd of tourists was definitely distraction for me and my lovebirds.

My favorite things about this picture: The lighting had a romantic glow (did not use flash), their heads partially hid a light fixture and I liked the effect it has just above the kiss, and the 'royal' decor was great! Photography in LV is definitely a dream, if you can steal away from the popular times/touristy spots
