It was bedtime and I was getting in some practice with black and white. The lighting conditions were horrible for color but came out absolutely gorgeous in black and white.

And we just found a very cool site that provides online "Tributes" everyone can participate in. For example, you can create a Tribute to celebrate a birth, anniversary, baby shower, party... absolutely anything!

And it's free! Any quantity of photos, text, voice, and stories can be added to the Tribute.

I've never written comments in this type of thing before but your picture really forced me to. So many wonderful points: the intimacy, the perspective, even cropping in portrait mode rather than landscape... simply brilliant.

Only question is why didn't you also post this winner in the Black and White section?
