Student and Horse

by Janice Rickert
(Duluth, Georgia, United States)

I took this photo with my Nikon D40X Camera at Conyers Horse park. I changed it into Black and White with Paint Shop Pro Photo X2 program. The photo reminds me of when I went to horse camp as a teenager.

BAD CROPPING
by: Anonymous

I CAN UNDERSTAND YOU WOULD WANT THE GIRLS FACE LARGE AND CLEAR TO SEE WHO SHE IS. A HORSE IS A LARGE LONG ANIMAL FROM THE SIDE. YOU SHOULD BETTER HAVE TAKEN IT FROM THE FRONT AT AN ANGLE TO KEEP A DECENT SIZE AS YOU WANTED. YOU CROP EITHER DRASTICALLY OR NOT AT ALL. THE TAIL IN THIS CASE MUST BE ALL IN THE PICT. IN FACT, DONT CROP SHADOWS EITHER.

Composure

You really have to watch your composure and not cut off body parts like the horses tail and I think it would look better if you left some space in front of the horse so that it does'nt look like he is walking out of the frame.
