The Gang

I decided on this pose one day while in my backyard. These were all the dogs we used to have at one time, a few years ago. I wanted a portrait of our pets, so I had them all get onto our swing.

Obviously it was a challenge since they are all animals, who'd rather be rolling in mud, than having their pictures taken. But...I used a dog whistle to gain their attention while I took this shot.

I posed them all, (not an easy task), and then got them to look at me. I just used a Canon Powershot digital camera, amazingly. This was taken before I got my dslr camera. None the less, it still came out awesome and I have received so many compliments on this picture of our 2 Dacshunds; Elvis and Fiona...and our two Pitbulls; Damon and Lexie!

We have since had children, and had to find homes for two of these dogs, but I'll always remember them, with a Photo like this one!
