The Queen of her Domain!

Our cat has been with us for about ten years. She was the only pet for the first 6 years and then we got a second pet.........a great big black lab!!
Ever since she has been practicing how to show that she is the Queen of her Domain.

In this photo she is laying in her cat bed which is placed on a high shelf. She assumes this position whenever the dog is around. I believe she feels very empowered by being up high where the dog can't get her!!
