More shadows please
by: Anonymous

Try shooting landscapes early in the morning and late afternoon. Hour after sunset, hour before sunset, as you get better, even 30min after sunset (with tripod). Do not shoot with the sun behind you. You need shadows to give definition. Even shoot towards the sun, but keep the direct sun from falling on the lens.
