What am I thinking?

My owner is about to take my picture. I am looking at her and thinking.....

Snow day...no school. The kids and I decided to try and take some pictures of them with their dogs. "Mizzou" was called over by our 10 year old son and told to sit. We got so busy straightening out the material she was on, moving lights, turning on the camera...that the dog gave up and layed down.
I quickly sat in the floor and got this really cute picture of "Mizzou".

We learned our lesson though to let the dog just check things out and get everything (I mean everything) in place before involving the dog. Only call the dog over when the camera is on and ready to go. Then when you get the dog to the place you want her, be prepared to move quickly and change everything you planned... like move the backdrop over a couple of feet or shoot from the left side instead of the right side.

My kids and I realized quickly that we could only get our dogs to do so much and then after that we had to adapt to get the pictures we were wanting.

Their favorite toys helped.
